Parent-to-Parent Matching

Parent-to-Parent Matching

You don't have to feel alone if you are the parent of a child with:

  • Hearing or visual impairment
  • Prematurity at birth
  • Mental challenges or developmental delays
  • Physical impairment
  • Learning disability
  • Chronic illness
  • Trauma resulting from an accident
  • Emotional disturbance
  • Other disability or medical condition

Family Support Network of Greater Forsyth helps parents cope with a child’s initial diagnosis, problems, crises and transitions and a hospitalization of a child through our Special Touch Program in two area hospitals.

Family Support Network of Greater Forsyth is a parent-to-parent support experience.  We are here to help you look for answers.

*By putting you in touch with a Support Parent who has a child with similar needs.

*By offering a “listening ear.”  The Support Parent understands the pleasure as well as the pain of having a child with special needs.

*By providing information on disabilities and community resources.
