Family Support Network of Greater Forsyth provides free services to those people who care for children with special needs -- including parents, guardians, professionals, and caregivers

Sibshops© Sibling Support Project

Sibshops is a unique opportunity for brothers and sisters of children with special health and developmental needs to obtain peer support and education within a recreational context.  Sibshops are lively, pedal-to-the-metal celebrations of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special needs.

Sibshops provides brothers and sisters of children with special needs an opportunity to:

*Meet other siblings in a relaxed, recreational setting

*Discuss common joys and concerns with other siblings of children with special needs

*Learn how others handle situations commonly experienced by siblings of children with special needs

*Learn more about the implication of their brothers’ and sisters’ special needs

*Have FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

Sibshops are offered six times a year for children ages 4-14.

Sibshop dates for spring 2011: March 11, April 15, May 13 .   Call (336) 924-5301 or email us for more information. Got a request for a special program? E-mail us! New to Sibshops? Download the registration form and send it in. Someone will contact you to confirm.
