Family Support Network of Greater Forsyth provides free services to those people who care for children with special needs -- including parents, guardians, professionals, and caregivers

Special Touch Hospital Program

Working closely with the excellent staff of the Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Family Support Network of Greater Forsyth provides support to families who have infants in the NICU at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and Forsyth Medical Center.

 

A Family Support Coordinator is available to provide parents of premature infants or infants who have special health concerns with emotional support, packets of information, and a referral to Family Support Network of Greater Forsyth for a Support Parent or to the Family Support Network program in the family’s home county.  The support coordinator is also happy to meet with parents of children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and expectant parents upon request or referral.
